A shimmering horizon, scattered red gum trees, a distant dog’s bark, and the murmuring of sheep grazing quietly. In the mid 1800s this remote outback sheep station – Jamieson’s Run – was home to the pioneering Chaffey brothers. Our wines from vineyards in the Limestone Coast region of South Australia were named in tribute to this pioneering past. One of the founding fathers of Jamiesons Run, William “Billy” Chaffey knew he could always depend on the trusted companionship of his reliable Kelpie shadowing his side as he strode through the vineyards.
